Rupert Thorpe has been shooting News and Features for over 26 years. Rupert started shooting professionally at sixteen while still at college studying an International Baccalaureate in Photography at Richmond Upon Thames College in London. He ran the picture desk of a photo agency in London before joining U.K’s famous “The Sun” Newspaper as one of the picture editors.

After three years he headed to Los Angeles to focus on celebrity news. He has since been shooting News, features and portraits for a number of international Newspapers and Magazines covering such big news stories such as Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 Haiti Earthquake.
